Hi, Cambry! The Disneyland Resort is a blast for people of all ages, but bringing your preschooler is especially magical. I have a daughter of similar age, so I have lots of tips for fun things for your little one!
My daughter loves to run around and explore Mickey's Toontown.
Goofy's Playhouse is especially fun and an excellent way to burn off some energy. You can also meet many friends here including Mickey and Minnie in their respective houses. For some extra special magic, show up to Mickey's Toontown 15 or so minutes before it opens (usually an hour after regular park opening). Often, Mickey and a few pals come down to open the land and personally welcome Guests. My daughter got to walk hand-in-hand with Goofy last time we were there and it was so much fun!
My daughter also happens to be a big thrill-seeker! If your little one is the same, make sure to check her height before you visit. If she happens to be 40" or taller, a lot of the thrill attractions will be available to her. My daughter absolutely adores Splash Mountain and Big Thunder Mountain Railroad. If meeting princesses is on the to-do list, then Royal Hall in
Fantasy Faire should be your first stop. Over in Disney California Adventure Park, do not miss Cars Land or "a bug's land." Both are perfect for 3-year-olds.
Finally, for
Holiday decorations, you will want to plan a visit sometime in November or December. Official dates haven't been announced yet, but in the past, the decor has started to go up immediately after Halloween.
I have lots more that I can share with you, so please return to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with more questions!
