hello! my husband and i plan on purchasing socal resident park hopper tickets. i have a valid CA license however my husband does not as he does not drive. would a valid passport (to prove identity) and w2 (to show residency) work to enter the park?

To all who come to this happy place, welcome. Thanks for visiting us here at planDisney, Jasmine. It sounds like you have some magical days ahead of you. Let's take care of business so you can get to the fun stuff.

I'm so happy to hear that you are thinking about taking advantage of the California Resident Park Hopper Ticket Offer. This ticket is available to California residents within ZIP codes 90000-96199. You will be required to provide proof of residency with a valid government-issued photo ID showing an address with an eligible zip code for admission. Unfortunately, because a passport is missing the address to prove residency, it will not be accepted. A California driver's license or state ID is typically the only form of identification accepted for this offer. The good news is that these tickets are valid through May 21, 2026, so there's still time to visit the DMV to get an ID card.

I really do hope that you are able to get an ID card soon to make this offer work for both you and your husband. Spring is a wonderful time of the year to visit and the Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival is in full swing. If you haven't already, check out the Foodie Guide with all of the details on the delectable delights. I can't wait to sink my teeth into all of the deliciousness during my next visit.

Jasmine, I'm sorry that this may be disappointing news. I hope that what I've shared is helpful and gives you the information you need for your next steps in the planning process. If there's anything else that we can help with, please come back to visit us. Until then, I'll be sending pixie dust in the hopes that you're able to get an ID card faster than you can say, "Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious."
