My husband and I plan on having a special meal for our anniversary. Our kids will get a quick service meal that day. This will leave us with two unused quick service meals. Can we still convert the two unused quick service meals into snacks?

    Greetings, Alisha!

Welcome to planDisney! I'm so glad you've chosen to be our guest as you prepare for your upcoming adventure. Your vacation begins in just a few days, so let's dig into your question immediately!

First, congratulations to you and your husband on your happily ever after. I hope you have an unforgettable celebration. Having a meal together during your trip will be lovely. Sometimes, we travel with a set of grandparents, and my husband and I enjoy escaping to one of our favorite restaurants for a couple of hours while my parents make memories with our children. Unfortunately, at this time, with a dining plan, you cannot convert quick-service meals to snacks. You still have time to figure out where to use those remaining quick-service meals, and I'd be happy to share some ideas.

Did you know you can redeem quick-service meals at breakfast? Most of the time, you can visit a Starbucks location, like the Main Street Bakery in Magic Kingdom Park, and make a quick-service meal out of a breakfast sandwich and specialty coffee. This isn't terribly filling, so it won't interfere with other planned lunches or snacks. Another excellent breakfast option is Yak & Yeti™ Local Food Cafes at Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park. My family and I often start our day early at this park, before breakfast is available at our resort. At Yak & Yeti™ Local Food Cafes, you'll find breakfast bowls and sandwiches to energize you on the walk from Kilimanjaro Safaris to Expedition Everest. Sharing two quick-service meals here would satisfy your entire family until lunch.

I hope this is helpful, Alisha! I wish you a delicious vacation next week. Thanks again for visiting us at planDisney, and have a magical day!

    Bon appetit,
    Betsy
