Hello, Ellen. Welcome back to planDisney. I'm so happy to answer your question today!
Being a local and an
Annual Passholder, you probably already know this, but the end of November will be such a great time to visit the
Walt Disney World Resort. Many of the parks and resorts will likely be decorated for the holiday season, especially
Magic Kingdom Park and
Disney's Hollywood Studios. Those two have to get all dolled up early for their specially-ticketed holiday parties,
Mickey's Very Mery Christmas Party and
Disney Jollywood Nights, respectively. And starting on November 29, 2024, the
EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays will begin. It's just such an exciting time!
Since the policy for taking advantage of
Florida Resident Offers states that
valid proof of residency is necessary, please bring it to activate your day tickets. It's better not to need it and have it than it is to need it and not have it!
Now, I hope that you are planning on visiting some of the
Disney Resorts Collection Hotels during your visit. Around this time of year, one of my favorite things to do is to tour the resorts that have Gingerbread Displays. Of course, everyone thinks of the Gingerbread House at
Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, and while that's a great one, other resorts typically have great displays as well. Think of popping into
Disney's BoardWalk Inn,
Disney's Contemporary Resort,
Disney's Beach Club Resort,
Disney's Yacht Club Resort, and even
Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge. Just make sure to stay tuned to the
Disney Parks Blog to see which resorts will have a display this year. Just remember, to park at these resorts, you'll have to either be staying there or have
an advanced dining reservation at one of their table-service restaurants. But if you're not planning on visiting the resort hotels, there is typically a gingerbread display at
The American Adventure in
EPCOT.
Ellen, enjoy your visit to the resort, and be sure to
reach out again with any other questions!
Keep moving forward, opening up new doors and doing new things,
Matt
