My husband passed away a year ago so I'd like to take my 3 & 7 year old to Disney for a fun getaway. I'm worried that the three of us will have some trouble sitting on the rides together. Does anyone have experience as one adult with 2 kids at the pa

Gianna, what a wonderful and memorable time you and your children will have!

The ride vehicles for attractions such as The Seas with Nemo and Friends, Haunted Mansion, Under the Sea - Journey of the Little Mermaid, and Peter Pan's Flight should accommodate an adult and 2 children. Other attractions have bench type seating such as Pirates of the Caribbean, it's a small world, Kilimanjaro Safaris, Gran Fiesta Tour Starring The Three Caballeros, Living with the Land, Jungle Cruise, and Mad Tea Party which will allow all three of you to sit next to one another. For rides such as Dumbo the Flying Elephant, The Magic Carpets of Aladdin, and TriceriTop Spin you may feel comfortable with your 7-year old riding in his own vehicle with you and your 3-year old in the vehicle directly behind. My son is also 7 and he gets a big kick out of being able to ride these alone. There are also many shows that your children will be able enjoy sitting right next to you, which is fantastic because you won't want to miss the looks of joy and amazement on their faces!

Happy memory making to your family, Gianna!

Meet the Panelist: Rachel, Wisconsin

Hi, I’m Rachel! I am a “boy mom” to two rowdy little men at home and married to my high school sweetheart. I am fortunate enough that my prince charming loves all things Disney just as much as I do! For me, planning a trip to Walt Disney World can be just as magical as being there. It brings our family together as we dream, plan, and count down the days. I would be honored to help plan your visit and share in your family’s very own magic! Learn More About Rachel
