My husband & I are participating in the Princess Half 2013. This is our first race. We're bringing along our son who will be 1 year in February. Are jogging strollers allowed in the race? Any advice for bringing a baby along for the run?

Hi Lauren!  Congratulations to you and your husband on signing up for your first race!  My husband and I ran the Princess in 2010 and we both love it!

Strollers are not allowed in the half marathon.  There is a stroller division in the 5K's, but for safety reasons, they are prohibited in the long races.  If you don't have any family or friends coming along to keep your baby, you can arrange for childcare with Kids Nite Out. (www.kidsniteout.com) This is an independent company that contracts with Disney and offers babysitting services 24 hours a day 7 days a week.  All of their babysitters are carefully screened and have background checks. They have also been highly trained.

I have used them before with my boys and was very impressed.  I would use them again without hesitation.

Please let me know if you have any other questions as you prepare!
