Hello! My husband and I both have our own accounts and have magicbands linked to our accounts. We are coming to Disneyland this weekend, and the tickets are linked to my account, how can I connect his bands for admission? Thank you!

Hey there, hi there, Caitlin! Welcome back to planDisney. We love it when Guests return with more great planning questions year after year!

It's exciting to hear you will be back at Disneyland Resort soon for another visit this weekend! If you are used to visiting and using MagicBands at Walt Disney World, it works a little differently at Disneyland Resort. At Disneyland, MagicBand+ is the only type that works. If you already have your MagicBand+ devices linked to each of your MyDisney accounts in the Disneyland app, there are two ways to do it. The easiest way is to just add your husband's ticket to his account as well. A ticket can be linked to more than one account. This way, he can then assign his MagicBand+ to his ticket, and you can assign yours to your ticket. The other option would be to unlink his MagicBand+ from his account in the app and link it to your account and assign it to his ticket.

Between the 70th Anniversary Celebration and holidays, you will have lots to see and do! The holidays have brought us so much entertainment and returning attraction overlays. Don't forget that there's plenty of magic beyond the parks! I love visiting the Disneyland Resort Hotel lobbies to see the decor and stroll through Downtown Disney, too!

Caitlin, we are so glad you stopped by! I hope you have a magical holiday visit!

Meet the Panelist: Carrie, California

Well hello there, friend! I'm Carrie, a work-from-home mom and military wife who currently calls sunny San Diego home. You'll find my family in the parks braving drops and coasters to work up our appetite to take as many snack breaks as we can. While Disneyland is our home away from home, we love trying to make a Walt Disney World Resort vacation happen at least once a year now too. All my friends know I'm the go-to for Disney advice, so I'm here to help you plan and experience the magic on your visit! Learn More About Carrie
