My husband will be in Orlando for work July 7 & 8; our travel timeframe is flexible. What would be the best parks to see with kids 2 & 3 years old during that timeframe? What resort or off-site hotel would you recommend?

    Hi Sandra,

I would highly recommend either two days at Magic Kingdom or a day at Magic Kingdom and a day at Disney's Animal Kingdom. Both of these parks have tons to see and do for the little ones. My youngest is now three, but was two years old during our last visit. These two parks were his favorite. Fantasyland in Magic Kingdom will be full of magic as most all of the attractions in this area are geared toward little ones with only one ride with a height minimum. That would be "The Barnstormer" with a minimum height of 35 inches. In addition to Fantasyland, Adventureland also has crowd pleasers like Jungle Cruise and the Magic Carpets of Aladdin. There are also lots of stage shows, parades, and attractions that I haven't mentioned that are sure to bring out the smiles. Over at Disney's Animal Kingdom, attractions like Kilimanjaro Safaris and Rafiki's Planet watch and absolutely amazing shows like Festival of the Lion King and Finding Nemo - the Musical are our favorites.

In regards to choosing a resort, I highly recommend staying on property. With use of the complimentary transportation system and convenience of being near just about everything, it is the totally worth it, in my opinion. Plus, there are resorts for every budget type from value resorts to deluxe. Since I am not sure of your family's budget, I'll suggest my pick for each category. For value resorts, I recommend Disney's Pop Century. Disney's Port Orleans French Quarter is a fantastic moderate resort. Finally, if you budget allows, my all-time favorite resort in all of Walt Disney World is Disney's Wilderness Lodge.

I hope this helps you in the planning process.
