My husband and I will be in Orlando on a Business Trip during the time of the Princess 1/2. Our plane leaves Sunday at noon. We want to run the Princess 1/2 that morning. Will there be plenty of time for this? Do you get your medal as soon as you cross?

    HI Kristin!

You do get your medal as soon as you cross the finish line.  Depending on which corral you start in and how fast you run, that could be anywhere between 7 a.m. and 10 a.m.  If you are a fast runner and will have proof of time that will get you in one of the first couple of corrals, then I think you would be fine.  I would want to leave Disney property no later than 9:30 a.m. for a 12:00  noon flight at Orlando International Airport.

If you will be starting in a later corral and you think it will take you longer than two and a half to three hours to finish, then that may be pushing it.   You could always look at getting a later flight out.

My husband and I have run the Princess together before and we both had a great time!  Please let me know if you have any other questions.  I hope it works out for you guys!
