Hello Kristine!
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
I am excited to hear you will visit the place “Where Dreams Come True” during the holiday season! I hope you have secured tickets to Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, and that you are planning on learning traditions from around the world at Epcot International Festival of the Holidays.
I remember visiting Magic Kingdom when I was a kid and riding a Skyway gondola! I just loved sitting there with my family taking in views of the park while enjoying a delicious Mickey’s Premium Ice Cream Bar. Because I have a nostalgic heart, I am so excited about
Disney Skyliner, a new transportation option that will move Guests in a gondola system connecting select Disney Resort hotels to Epcot and Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
In the event that extra pixie dust is being sprinkled around the area of the future station at Epcot during your stay at Disney’s BoardWalk Inn and water taxi service to this theme park becomes unavailable, you may still be able to walk to International Gateway. Boat service to Disney’s Hollywood Studios is expected to continue, but you are also welcome to walk to park entrance. I think this is a lovely walk to take early in the morning or in the evening. However, please note that the best thing to do is check with Front Desk upon arrival on transportation status from Disney’s BoardWalk Inn to both theme parks. Cast Members will be able to provide you with updated information on what type of transportation will be available at the time of your visit, since while construction is taking place, transportation or other areas may be affected.
I hope this helps you while planning, Kristine! Please stop by once again real soon!
Best magical wishes,
Thiana
