Hello. My husband will not have his phone at Disney World... how do I add his ticket to my app? Thanks!

    Hi Joann,

Happy New Year, and welcome to planDisney! It’s always a pleasure to assist a fellow Canadian planning a trip to Walt Disney World Resort. Let’s dive into your question and get you all set for your Disney adventure!

One of the great things about visiting the parks is the flexibility in how you can scan in to start your day. From Disney bands to the Key to the World Card, Disney MagicMobile (on a compatible phone or Apple Watch), or a physical ticket, Guests have several convenient options to choose from. My family tends to mix and match depending on what we have handy - it’s all about what works best for you!

Since you’re using the My Disney Experience Mobile App, the first step is to ensure your husband is on your Family & Friends list. To check, tap the "≡" menu icon in the bottom-right corner of your screen. Scroll down to "Profile" under the "Account" section and select it. Then, navigate to the "Family & Friends List" tab and look for your husband’s name. If he’s not on the list, scroll to the bottom and tap the blue "Add a Guest" button. Enter his details, and he’ll receive an email invitation. Once he accepts, you’ll both appear on each other’s Family & Friends lists, making planning together a breeze!

To see your husband's ticket, click on the "My Tickets & Passes" tile and scroll through the tickets. You'll see the bar code for his ticket which can be scanned at the gate upon entry.

If he has not linked his ticket to his account, he can do so by following these steps:

    1. Open the My Disney Experience Mobile App and log in.
    2. Tap the "≡" menu icon in the bottom-right corner.
    3. Select the "My Tickets and Passes" tile.
    4. Tap the blue "+" in the top-right corner and choose "Link Tickets & Passes."
    5. Enter the ticket ID code, tap "Submit," and you're all set!

Joann, I hope this information helps you get your husband's ticket sorted for your visit. Wishing you a fantastic stay at Walt Disney World Resort. If you have any other questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out - I’m always happy to help. Thanks for stopping by planDisney!

    See ya real soon,
