Ahoy there, Samuel! Welcome aboard planDisney! I'm sorry it seems like you've run into some rough seas when it comes to your husband's Castaway Club status.
Since Castaway Club status comes with some amazing perks ranging from a free lanyard when you board and earlier booking windows for Silver Castaways, all the way up to one free dinner at Palo per stateroom and the broadest reservation windows available, it's no WONDER that you'd rather have things in order!
Well in the words of Mary Poppins, well, this just won't do! So off we go, spit-spot, to get things back on track.
I have great news! If for any reason you or your party are experiencing issues with Castaway Club membership matching there are three planDrew-approved steps you can take to try and ensure things get made right:
- Sign in to your Disney account on the Disney Cruise Line website and navigate to the Edit Profile page.
- Check that your last name is spelled exactly as it appears on the passport or proof of citizenship used for your prior Disney Cruise Line vacation and if any corrections should be made, make them!
- Check that your birthdate is correct!
If none of those steps work to shake the Silver Castaway status loose, I'd definitely suggest contacting a crew member by email! Now, the web resolution team's current, well...resolution time...has been around five to nine days in my experience lately, so you are aware.
Still, if you are looking to have your husband's Castaway Club status resolved in time for a specific upcoming cruise, you may want to batten down the hatches and brave the recent hold times by contacting a crew member by phone!
I certainly hope that gives you a few headings to chart a course for your husband's Castaway Club status, Samuel! Thank you so much for your question, and if you continue to sail across rough seas and get tossed around, please send me another message here at planDisney! I'll always be on the lookout for messages in bottles!
Until then, there's nowhere to go but up!
Andrew
