Hi Fortune! Thanks for visiting us here at planDisney!
Oh no! I'm so bummed to hear that your husband had to cancel his plans due to Covid-19. I can only imagine how disappointing that must have been. But, I'm so glad to hear that you have a new visit scheduled for July! On the bright side, there is so much going on this summer at
Walt Disney World Resort, so I'm sure he will have the most incredible time!
While there is no official opening date yet, the fantastic new attraction,
Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, is set to open this summer. This family-friendly attraction will be one of the longest coaster rides in the world and will rotate you 360 degrees, making sure you don't miss a moment of the action. So, let's keep our fingers crossed that it will be open in time for you to take off on this intergalactic race through space on your visit this July! Be sure to keep an eye on
Disney Parks Blog for the latest information on the attraction's opening.
Now, on to your question, Fortune. While your husband's unused
theme park tickets will have expired, the value of those tickets remains and can be applied toward a future ticket. However, once the ticket expired, it would no longer be visible in his
My Disney Experience app. So, to apply the unused ticket toward your visit in July, you would need to call the Existing Tickets Team at (407) 934-7639. One of the helpful Cast Members here will be glad to get this taken care of for you.
Fortune, I hope my answer has been helpful to you! Please feel free to stop by again if you have any other vacation planning questions!
Have a magical day,
Diana
