Hi Daphne, welcome to planDisney!
Your Walt Disney World Resort vacation countdown is almost in the single digits - hot diggity dog! Speaking of "hot," I recommend packing refillable water bottles to ensure you stay hydrated on warm September park days. Alternatively, complimentary ice water is available at quick-service dining locations throughout the parks.
I understand you wear the planning ears in your family, Daphne, and that all of your husband's vacation entitlements are currently housed in a
My Disney Experience account profile managed by your account. If your husband has a strong desire to assist with in-park planning needs (purchasing
Disney Genie+ service, booking
Lightning Lane attractions, placing
mobile food and beverage orders, etc.), I would encourage him to create his own account and download the
My Disney Experience mobile app. You'll then need to
merge his newly created account with the account profile housed under your account. If in-park planning tasks will be your responsibility, there is no need for him to create a separate account. Either way, he will have no problem maximizing the magic of his
MagicBand+.
My husband has his own My Disney Experience account, and we share planning responsibilities on our family trips. When traveling with my parents, their My Disney Experience account profiles are managed by my account and I make all plans for them. There is no wrong way to do Disney as long as everyone has valid admission, a theme park reservation for each park day, and a method of entry (MagicBand, MagicBand+, Disney MagicMobile pass, or admission card) linked to someone's account.
I hope this is helpful information, Daphne. I'm sending warm wishes for a wonderful vacation. Don't forget the sunscreen!
Choose magic,
Jennifer
