My husband, myself and our 7 year old daughter are planning to take advantage of the free dining package. We are thinking of September 17-24. My question is, What is the weather usually like then? Is it super hot and unbearable humidity?

September weather in Florida is very similar to their August weather!  It most likely will still be quite hot with the highs averaging around 90 and the lows averaging around 72 degrees.  It also averages about 5.8 inches rainfall with the afternoon showers and storms still around. Humidity is still high.

With that said September is generally a great time to visit for low crowds so although the weather is still hot and humid your lines might not be quite as long as other times of the year.  Suggestions to keep your family happy during hot days include staying hydrated at all times and taking breaks during the middle of the day when it is the hottest to enjoy the resort pools or other recreation.  Naps are recommended too so you can enjoy a late night at a park with Extra Magic Hours.
