My husband and myself are visiting in December 2015 for our anniversary. We have stayed at POR before and loved it. We are trying to decide between CB and CS this time around. Which do you prefer?

    Hi Rachelle!

I have developed a recent love for Coronado Springs Resort and it is now my favorite moderate resort.  The entire property is beautiful and stunningly themed.  The last two times I stayed at this resort were for adult-only trips and I am just dying to bring the kids next time.

Pack your swim suits, even in December.  The Dig is home to an awesome pool with a fun slide.  There is a relaxing hot tub next to the pool and is perfect for a sun-down wind-down.  There are also 3 quiet pools located around the resort that are heated to 82 degrees year round.

This resort is the perfect setting for a romantic nightly stroll.  The reflection on the lake during sunset is breathtaking.  Head over to Rix Lounge for a nightcap.

Maya Grill, the table service restaurant at the resort is an excellent place to get some delicious Tex-Mex.  We split the Grande San Antonio Skillet Platter (fajitas) and had the Queso Fundido as an appetizer.  Yum!

Grab a drink from the Siestas Cantinas by the pool and an order of Siestas Nachos to share.

Even though this resorts is fairly large, it still feels quaint and cozy.

    Have a magical day!
