My husband, myself and three boys ages 14, 13 and 9 are planning our first trip to Disney World. We are planning on staying at Port Orleans Riverside. My question is would you recommend the meal packages? If so, which one? I've read varying opinions!

    Hi Susan!

Thank you for sending in your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

Unfortunately only you can really answer that has it really depends.  I can tell you that some guests save a lot of money by being on a Disney Dining Plan, some save only a little, and some actually spend more.  It depends on where you dine and what each member of your party orders.

To help you determine if it makes sense or not, I suggest visiting the independent website AllEars.Net.  At All Ears, you can see the menu, including prices, for all of the Quick Service and Table Service restaurants within Walt Disney World.  Armed with that information you can make a determination as to what would work best for your family.

I hope this helps!  Please write back with more questions!
