    My husband, myself, our friend and our two daughters 16 & 17 will be going on our first visit to Disneyworld June 29th - July 7th, 2012 visiting from Canada. We are so excited! What can you suggest, are there July 4th celebrations/activities?

    Congratulations on your first trip to Walt Disney World! 

    The Fourth of July is a wonderfully patriotic day for Americans, and we love it when our friends and neighbors from Canada come down to celebrate it with us!

    There are some very special and amazing fireworks displays taking place to celebrate the Fourth of July at Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, and Hollywood Studios.  In fact, one or more of those Parks may be doing the special displays on both July 3rd and July 4th, so make SURE you check with Guest Relations to find out when and where the spectacular events are taking place.  They are not to be missed - we are talking about massive amounts of amazingly awesome pyrotechnics here!!!

    Something that I truly enjoy doing ANY time of the year, but most especially on the Fourth of July, is visiting the Hall of Presidents at the Magic Kingdom, and the American Adventure at EPCOT.  In addition, I love to catch the "Spirit of America Fife & Drum Corps" just outside the American Adventure Pavilion in the courtyard. 

    But, my ABSOLUTE favorite thing, something that I make sure I do every single time I visit Walt Disney World, is to take in the magnificent "Voices of Liberty" as they perform in the Rotunda inside the American Adventure at EPCOT.  This is something that never fails to move me to tears.  Honestly, I'm about to cry right now just thinking about it and looking forward to the next time I get to go!!!  (I'm such a baby!)  Please check this out when you visit EPCOT!  They perform most days in EPCOT, and their scheduled performance times can be found on the Daily Guide which you can pick up along with a Park Map at the Park Entrance or Guest Relations at EPCOT.
