My husband, my mother in law and I are taking my 4 year old to Disney 2/5/13 - 2/11/13. Of course we are getting recommendations about all the rides to go on, but wanted to ask - what rides would you suggest to ride/avoid? She is over 40" tall.

Hi Allison! I would strongly urge you to not rush your daughter to ride some of the thrill rides too soon even if she fits the height requirement. If you have any questions about an attraction you can ask the cast member who will be at entrance. Better to be safe then to scare your child.

I think Soarin is a good attraction for younger children. Spaceship Earth, Toy Story Mania, and Jungle Cruise are also great for that age. Pirates and Haunted Mansion as well as Its A Bugs Life and Star Tours have darkness and some scary spots but can be fine. All of Fantasyland, Imagination, Safari, Lion King, Magic Carpets, Rafikis Planet Watch, and the Animal Kingdom walking trails are perfect.

This would give you a good list for attractions in each park to start with for that age group!
