Hi, Jeanette!
It sounds like you have the perfect vacation planned. I agree; a day enjoying
EPCOT’s International Flower & Garden Festival sounds like a lovely way to start your Disney Cruise vacation before boarding the
Disney Wish.
Disney Cruise Line offers transportation from the Walt Disney World Resorts to the port for Guests staying at a Disney Resort hotel. You can add
Disney ground transportation from the resort to the port and the ship to the airport. A
Disney reservation specialist will be happy to add transfers to your reservation.
If you choose Disney ground transportation, you won’t have to worry about picking a Port Arrival Time when you complete your online check-in. You’ll receive information the night before you sail about the exact timing of your departure from the resort – all you have to do is sit back and enjoy the air-conditioned motor coach ride.
Your little sailor will have so much fun on the Disney Wish! When I sailed with my son when he was little, I was afraid I would forget something. Babies might be tiny, but they seem to travel with a lot of baggage. Disney Cruise Line knows this, and they take some of the stress of traveling with infants away by providing
many items you use at home on board. Your Stateroom Host can provide a diaper disposal unit, bottle warmer, and a Pack-n-Play portable crib. There are even strollers you can borrow. What a relief not to have to bring all those things with you.
Jeanette, I can’t wait for you and your family to embark on the Disney Wish. You are surely going to make memories to last a lifetime. Everyone always asked me why we cruised when my infant son wouldn’t remember the trip. I always said that I remember, and that’s all that matters.
Have a magical vacation!
