My husband has 1 month left on his pass before he can renew. I would like to renew his pass to keep the pass and not have to sign up again BUT he is currently deployed and will be dropped until late August 2025. What are our options?

    Hello, Laura!

I am glad you sent your question to planDisney, and thank you for your family's service to our country! I hope you were able to honor your husband on Veteran's Day, even though he was not at home.

Magic Key passes that are renewed are generally considered to be active passes on their renewal date. An option to delay the activation date is not typically available for renewals in my experience. I'm sorry! You may want to consider letting his Magic Key pass expire and then purchasing a new one when sales resume. Guests have up to one year to activate a new Magic Key pass according to the Terms & Conditions. You can also call a friendly Cast Member at the Magic Key Holders line to explore other options.

Did you know that Tiana's Bayou Adventure opens to all Guests this week? I cannot wait to experience this new attraction! I just returned from a trip to Walt Disney World Resort where I rode their version of Tiana's Bayou Adventure. I loved the upbeat music and unique theming! I rode in the back seat where I did not get too wet, but my friends in the front two rows were soaked. It was so much fun!

I hope you get a chance to visit Disneyland during the holidays. It is my most favorite time of year to be in the theme parks! I love snacking my way through the Disney Festival of Holidays at Disney California Adventure Park. Check out the Disney Parks Blog Foodie Guide to see all of the delicious offerings. I want to try the Sticky Toffee Pudding Macaron, Cookie Dough Yule Log, and Chorizo Queso Fundido Mac & Cheese with tortilla crunch. It all looks so tasty!

Laura, I wish I had different news to give you. I do hope that you can send your husband some yummy goodies and treats from Disneyland Resort to enjoy while he is deployed!

    Happy holidays!
