Hi, My husband and (then) 20 month daughter will be going to DW 1/21/12 - 1/28/12. On a scale of 1 - 10 (10 being the most busy), how busy are the parks during this time of year? Thanks for your help!

    Hi Michele,

I would approximate the crowd level to be about a 3 overall for your week. Some parks may be busier on select days and others will be less busy!

We've traveled to WDW many times at the end of January. It's a great time to visit to enjoy off-season rates, low crowds and to escape the harsh winters in the north.

Our son first visited WDW at 24 months and it was in January!

The weather can be variable so as your vacation dates grow nearer, be sure to check the forecast. We've had many January days when we could be in shorts and others when we were in coats, hats and gloves so be sure to plan accordingly!

Best wishes for a wonderful visit to Disney!
