Hi there, Jessica!
Thanks so much for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your wonderful question. I'd also like to extend a thanks to your husband and your entire family for your military service and support. The Walt Disney World Resort also appreciates the sacrifice and service of U.S. military personnel and has been offering some great benefits to families just like yours.
Active and retired U.S. military members can purchase up to six specially priced
Walt Disney World Resort Park Hopper tickets per active or retired ID. This means that even though a spouse (with dependent ID) can purchase these tickets on base and activate tickets in the park, you can only purchase six total. The Walt Disney World Resort keeps track of tickets internally since they are tied to the active or retired military ID. Once my family actually accidentally purchased seven tickets in a year, and when the seventh person in our family activated tickets in the park, the system caught it. We then had to pay the price difference to a standard Park Hopper ticket even though our military base let us somehow purchase seven tickets that year between my dependent ID and my husband's active duty ID.
As a military family, did you know that you can also receive great discounts on
Walt Disney World Resort Hotel stays? Just make sure you mention your military status over the phone when making reservations at (407) 939-5277 to get access to these discounted rates.
I hope this helps, and please return if you have any other questions. Have a Fantasmic day!
