My husband is 100% military disabled and we were told you offer ADA access. How do we go about that?

    Hi there Delia,

Welcome to planDisney and thank you so much to both you and your husband for your service. I'm honored to get to help with your question and hopefully help you plan your best trip ever.

Disney Parks have a clear and unwavering commitment to providing accessible experiences for Guests, which has been evident to me when visiting with family and friends who require additional assistance and accessibility options.

The particular program I would look suggest looking into is the Disability Access Service (DAS). This program was designed to assist Guests who have difficulty tolerating extended waits in a traditional queue due to a disability.

It does require a quick screen with a Cast Member, but I recommend doing that via video call prior to your arrival through DAS Advance. It looks like you're planning on arriving at the parks on July 25th, so it's important to note that you would need to schedule your DAS Advance call within 30 but no less than 2 days prior to your visit (so try to get this in before July 23).

The DAS program will allow you to request return times for specific experiences. The return time windows will be comparable to current standby waits, but frees you up from needing to stand in the queue and wait.

Also, if you haven't already purchased your tickets, you can check with your closest military base ticket office to see if you might qualify for the US Military promotional ticket offer! During your visit, keep in mind that there is also a beautiful Flag Retreat Ceremony held every day at sunset in the center just past the entry tunnels. I highly recommend at least one viewing - especially for military families!

Thank you again for your question, Delia! I hope you and your husband have a fantastic time visiting the Happiest Place on Earth.

    Have a Magical Day,
    Greg
