My husband and I are in our mid-20s and we are trying to plan our trip with some special things we probably won't be able to do after we have kids. What are some activities or dining you would recommend?

    Rebecca:

The trips my husband and I have taken to Disney without the children due to conventions or for running Disney races are much more laid-back. Here are some of the more "adult" activities you can enjoy before children come along:

    • Karaoke: I would die if you made me get up on stage, but I can belt one out from the comfort of my chair at Kimonos in the Swan Hotel. Get some sushi and either enjoy the show or BE the show.
    • Jellyrolls: As I mentioned, I like to sing from the comfort of my chair, and you can do this at the piano bar Jellyrolls on the Boardwalk. The talented guys at the piano are simply incredible.
    • Atlantic Dance Hall: If you two like to dance, get your groove on here. Begin your night with dinner at one of the Boardwalk restaurants and then catch Illuminations at Epcot from the Boardwalk. I think the best views are from the benches outside the entrances of the dance hall and Jellyrolls. Then, dance the night way!
    • Splitsville: This new bowling area at Downtown Disney isn't your typical bowling alley. Better food and better atmosphere make better memories.
    • San Angel Inn: Dining under the "stars" at Epcot...
    • Narcoossee's: If you're looking for special dining, I can't recommend this place more. Get there a few minutes early and request a table by the window and plan your dining time so that you can enjoy the Magic Kingdom fireworks from the veranda for a memorable evening.
    • Victoria and Albert's: It's on my bucket list and should be on yours, too. Go now before you have to spend all your money on diapers.

    Wishing y'all a magical vacation!

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
