My husband and I are in our mid 20's and are planning a trip to Disney World for this december. I have never been and need some advice on what is the best way to go about planning a trip. Should I go through Disney, orlando vacations? Hotel?

Hi Kelly! I recommend using an Authorized Disney Vacation Planner. He or she is a travel agent who specializes in Disney vacations. For almost all, there should be no cost to you. Most can help with planning and will look for ways to save you money. I also recommend picking up the book "The Complete Walt Disney World" by Julie and Mike Neal. It's a great book for first timers with just the right amount of information without being overwhelming. It is also a beautiful book with lots of color photographs. The biggest mistake first timers make is not making Advanced Dining Reservations. They can be made up to 180 days in advance and are critical if you want to dine in the Table Service (full service) restaurants. They can be made online or by calling (407) WDW-DINE. Hopefully this will get you started. Write back with more questions!
