Hi Patty! Welcome to planDisney! Thanks for stopping by with your question!
Whether you are traveling to the
Walt Disney World Resort for work or play, it's always exciting being so close to the magic! I've tagged along with my wife a few years back for a conference she was attending. I had the best time exploring the parks during the day and then meeting up with her in the evenings. We extended the trip by an extra day which allowed her to enjoy a full park day without anything going on.
Although there is not a discount for entering the parks in the evenings, you will save a bit on
purchasing multi-day theme park tickets. The price per day of a 4-day ticket is less than the price of a single-day ticket. Since you will have a seven day window to use the tickets, you can pick and choose which days to visit.
There are also no rules that state which parks you can and cannot visit during your stay. If you felt the need to visit the
Magic Kingdom Park each of the four days, then you will be allowed to do so. One thing to keep in mind is that you will need to make park reservations to enter any of the four theme parks. Once you purchase your tickets, you will need to log on to your
My Disney Experience account and choose which park you want to make a reservation for on a particular day. Make sure to do so quickly because
park reservations are not guaranteed and they can reach capacity. (Note: You will be able to view availability before making your ticket purchase.)
Another consideration is adding the
Park Hopper Option to your tickets. If you do so, you will be able to visit multiple theme parks within the same day. For example, if you want to visit
Disney's Hollywood Studios during the day, but your husband wants to meet in
EPCOT for dinner over in the France Pavilion, you will be able to do so. The only caveat is you will need to enter the park you made a reservation for first before hopping to another park starting at 2 PM. In this scenario, it might make the most sense for your husband to just purchase a standard ticket.
Patty, I hope you have an amazing time with your husband during your visit! Have a blast being a part of the
World's Most Magical Celebration!
Happy planning!
Greg
