Hi Christina,
From a fellow bride who was married in Disney’s Wedding Pavilion many years ago, welcome to planDisney! I know your wedding was absolutely magical, and it is wonderful to hear that you want to bring your children back to the place where it all started!
You should be able to
link your complimentary tickets to your My Disney Experience account so that you can make your theme park reservation. You can do this on the Walt Disney World website or in your
My Disney Experience mobile app by going to “Tickets and Passes” and selecting “Link Tickets & Passes.” From here you can scan the barcode or enter the ID number on your tickets.
If you cannot find this information on your ticket, I recommend calling the number listed under “
Existing Tickets.”
Once the tickets are linked to your account and assigned to a Guest, you can make your
theme park reservations. I recommend viewing the
Theme Park Reservation Availability calendar prior to making your reservations.
The magic of getting married at Walt Disney World never ends, so my husband and I like to start our day with a ride on the Resort Monorail so we can see Disney’s Wedding Pavilion from above (my kids roll their eyes every time we point it out)! When you enter Magic Kingdom Park, make sure to stop by City Hall to ask for a “Happily Ever After” celebration button. These should be available at any
Guest Relations location in the theme parks, as well as the Front Desk of your Disney Resort hotel. Wearing this button will invite Cast Members and other Guests to share their well wishes with you throughout the day! And since you’re planning your trip for March, you’re visiting during the
Walt Disney World 50th Anniversary Celebration which ends March 31, 2023.
Meet Mickey Mouse at the Town Square Theater to see him in his celebration outfit, and make sure you check out the themed merchandise available!
End the evening surrounded by music, fireworks, and projections with
Disney Enchantment, which ends April 2, 2023. Or if you’re looking to wind down with a romantic dinner, I recommend making a
dining reservation for
California Grill at
Disney’s Contemporary Resort. You can see it all from the top of the resort, from Disney’s Wedding Pavilion to Cinderella Castle.
I hope you and your family have a wonderful time at Walt Disney World Resort reminiscing about your Disney Fairy Tale Wedding, Christina. Please
visit me again if you have any questions in the future!
Wishing you a happily ever after,
Kaitlin
