My husband and I have magic bands from 2019. Will we be able to use those same bands when we return in October 2022?

    Welcome to planDisney Edna!

Mickey and his pals are so happy you are planning a visit to Walt Disney World this fall. You will be visiting during the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival so make sure to stop by to indulge in some savory dishes and tasty drinks!

That is great you still have your MagicBands from a previous visit. Assuming there is still some battery life in your bands (battery life is usually about 2 years) you can still use your bands. On your My Disney Experience account, go My MagicBands and Cards. Double check that your MagicBands are linked to your account and listed as "Active." You will know if they still have any pixie dust left in them when you go to open the door to your Disney resort room or try to enter a theme park.

If they are not working, Hakuna Matata, no worries! Stop by a Ticket Window, Guest Relations, or the front desk of your Disney Resort hotel to get a card that will work as your tickets. Even easier, use Disney MagicMobile to access your Theme Park Tickets on your phone through the My Disney Experience app.

Wishing you a fabulous vacation and waving my magic wand in hopes that your MagicBands still have a bit of magic in them!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
