If my husband has a magic band on his account and I have one on my account can the same card be used for purchases?

    Hi Kelly,

Welcome back to planDisney and thank you for asking us another question!

I almost don’t want to take my MagicBand off when I come home from my visits to Walt Disney World Resort. Not only does putting it away in my “Disney drawer” mean that my vacation is over, but I do miss the convenience of having one device run everything, from entering a Theme Park to opening my Disney hotel room door.

One of the things that I appreciate the most is the ability to charge my purchases to my Disney resort hotel room account (or Guest folio) during my stay. I’m happy to say that, even if you and your husband have different My Disney Experience accounts, you can absolutely use the same credit card for your purchases. You can either link your credit card directly in the Mobile App by going into the “Payment Method” section which you’ll find under “My Account” or you can speak to your hotel’s Lobby Concierge for further assistance.

Don’t forget that you can also use the app to keep track of your spending. Simply go into the “Resort Hotel” section and click on the “View Charges” folder icon.

I hope my answer helps you plan the perfect Disney Parks vacation for you and your family. As always, please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions.

    Have a Magical Day,

    Lynne
