my husband and I made reservations for december 2013 for us and our two kids, son aged 14 and daughter, 5. We made it for Nemo Suite at AoA but dont know if we really need that much room or would we be better in a mermaid room. Any suggestions?

Hi Melissa! Choosing the best Walt Disney Resort for your family is important and with all the wonderful choices you have it can sometimes be a bit confusing too.

The new Art of Animation family suites are wonderful. They are not huge but what it does give you is a separate bedroom with tv and bath. The living area then becomes the second sleeping area and it also has a bath and tv. If your budget can handle the suite I do suggest this arrangement. With two bathrooms you will find your time to get ready in the mornings will be shorter. With the separate bedroom you can also have the ability to keep lights on and watch television when its time for the kiddos to go to sleep. There is enough room so each family member has their space to do what they enjoy while relaxing.

If the budget won't allow the suite then the new mermaid rooms will be fine. They have one bathroom but you can certainly work out the schedule for that. Families generally are not spending tons of time in their resort rooms and it is mainly for a place to sleep each night. In any case whatever room you choose you will surely love this newest resort at Walt Disney World.
