Oi Rafaela!
Nothing makes me happier than welcoming a fellow Brazilian to planDisney! You have come to the right place for tips that will make your visit to the Walt Disney World Resort even more magical!
Like you, I love staying at a
Disney Resorts Collection hotel! The benefits, amenities, and services keep me coming back! I always have a hard time deciding where to stay because each hotel offers unique experiences, but knowing I can explore other resorts even if I am not a Guest is truly special! That is also true if you are staying off-site. You are welcome to visit Disney Resort hotels to enjoy select dining, shopping, entertainment, and recreation experiences. If you are driving, please let the Cast Member at the entrance gate know your plans (dining, shopping, entertainment, recreation) to enjoy
complimentary standard self-parking.
One of the reasons I love visiting different Disney Resort hotels is to try their delicious food offerings! I like stopping by quick-service locations, and even though they do not require reservations, I usually place a
mobile order (if available) to make the most of my time. What I like about mobile ordering is that you can do it anytime, anywhere, and all you have to do is select an arrival window. To order using your mobile device, open the My Disney Experience app, tap the plus sign at the bottom of the screen, and select
Order Food to choose a location and arrival window.
Some of my favorite quick-service restaurants at Disney resort hotels are
The Mara at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge,
Capt. Cook’s at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort (I love their Tonga Toast for breakfast and the Thai Coconut Meatballs for lunch or dinner),
Landscape of Flavors at Disney’s Art of Animation Resort, and
Sassagoula Floatworks and Food Factory at Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – French Quarter. Something special about Sassagoula Floatworks and Food Factory: if you are visiting Disney Springs, you can use Disney complimentary
water transportation to travel to Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – French Quarter and visit this dining location. My favorite items on their menu are the shrimp and grits and the seared salmon. I also recommend stopping by
Scat Cat’s Club – Café to try some delicious Mickey-shaped beignets. If you enjoy exploring lounges, I recommend
Dahlia Lounge at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort,
Geyser Point Bar & Grill at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge, and
Enchanted Rose at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa.
I hope this help you while planning, Rafaela. Be sure to stop by planDisney in Portuguese next time so we can continue to create magic in our beautiful language!
Saudações mágicas,
Thiana
