My husband and I are looking at running the Wine and Dine. Our home resort is not a host resort. I know that means that there will be no bus to get back after the after party since it will be so late. Do you have any advice about getting to the race?

    Hi Kellie!

Thank you for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

I apologize for the delay in my response.  There are actually some final touches being put on Wine and Dine Half Marathon weekend, which means the schedule for the weekend and host resorts have not been released yet for the 2016 race.  You are probably seeing the host resort list for 2015.

I was waiting to see if details would be announced, but since they haven't I wanted to get a response to you.

Keep checking the Wine and Dine Half Marathon weekend website for race details.  They should be coming very soon. If you don't already, be sure to follow runDisney on Facebook (Run Disney) and Twitter (@rundisney) for news and updates.

If it turns out that your resort is not a host resort, no worries!  You can either take a taxi or Uber to be dropped off at the starting area, and then the same for the trip back to your resort.  I have done this before with no issues at all.  I made sure I had the taxi-service number with me to call for the trip back.  If you don't run with your phone, you can always bag-check it and pick it up when you finish the race.

I hope this helps!  Please let me know if you have any other questions.
