    My husband and I are looking into our first cruise. We'd like to go to Alaska. Looked at the itineraries, but can't tell... is there any chance to get a dog sled ride or work with the folks that track wolves?

    Hi Cortney,

    Welcome to the Moms Panel and the adventure of cruising!  I am really excited about the Alaskan itineraries that are now being offered by Disney Cruise Line.  Guests had been asking for this opportunity - and thankfully DCL was listening!

    The official excursions and shore experiences that will be available to the Disney Cruise Line guests are not revealed until approximately 120 days prior to sailing.  I would have to imagine that they are going to be pairing with companies that will offer a true Alaskan experience - so I think you could book with confidence that the experience will be spectacular.  In the event that you don't find a shore excursion that meets your expectation, I am sure you could find other options by doing a internet search for providers at the ports of call.  I did a quick search and found several dog sled excursion options in more than one of the Alaskan ports.
