Hi Sherry,
Welcome to planDisney!
Well, I had a similar dilemma so I am happy to discuss this. It sounds like your husband has his own MyDisney account. If so and he wants to continue to manage it, you can certainly link his tickets and other reservations to that profile. If, like my husband, he does not really want to manage his own account, I suggest that you call to
speak with a cast member in Website Support. When I had a similar situation with my husband's account, they were able to assist us. I was glad I called because I had already booked a resort hotel reservation and made
advanced dining reservations. The cast member was able to link a new, managed profile to existing reservations for us.
Once you have the new account created, it sounds like you will need to make other reservations, so you should be able to link the new or updated profile to those reservations when making them. Honestly, managing his profile makes it much easier for me to make plans. Sometimes, simplicity in organizing is best, especially given that you may want to book
Lightning Lane passes as well.
As you continue to plan, remember to make note of your
advanced dining reservation booking window. My family typically makes advanced dining reservations for most meals because our girls have a few food allergies and we find it easier to manage when we are at table-service restaurants. We also love dining reservations because they give us a chance to take a nice break during the day and, if we are at a
character dining experience, it's a nice way to meet our favorite characters.
Sherry, keep up the
practically perfect planning and stop back by if you have additional questions!
Magic and memories,
Donyell
