I’m sorry to hear there was a mix up in assigning your MagicBands for your upcoming trip.
Unfortunately, once a MagicBand has been assigned to a Guest,
it is not possible to reassign it to someone else. You have a few options to consider. You can order a new MagicBand or
MagicBand+ from
shopDisney or wait until you arrive at Walt Disney World Resort to see what design selections are in the theme parks. I often find that there are event related MagicBand designs in the theme parks that you can’t find online yet, like for the
EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival.
Another option is to choose not to use a MagicBand and instead utilize the
Disney MagicMobile Service. MagicMobile allows you to use your phone to enter theme parks, check into Lightning Lane queues, and connect Disney PhotoPass photos. You can easily set up MagicMobile before your visit in the My Disney Experience app. To do this, click on the three horizontal bars in the bottom right of the app and select the “Disney MagicMobile” tile. This will walk you through selecting your pass style (I love the one that features a
DOLE whip!) and adding it to your digital wallet.
