Hi Andrea! Welcome back to planDisney! We always love when you stop by with your great questions.

Looks like you and your husband will be zipping into the Happiest Place on Earth soon so let's get to it! When you arrive to the parks, I recommend that you stop by any Guest Relations location and ask for a Guide for Guests with Disabilities. This detailed guide map indicates where and how to access attractions and was a game-changer for me when I navigated Walt Disney World with my mom last year. Each attraction varies, so your best bet is to speak with a Cast Member at the attraction you wish to experience, to discuss what your options might be. There are multiple services available for those with mobility disabilities. My mom was able to ride any of the attractions she wished, including the carrousel, which she hadn't done since she was a little girl! It was a magical moment for us all.

Well, Andrea, I hope that was helpful in your planning and you have lots of frightful fun during one of my favorite times of year at Disneyland - Halloween! Make sure to cruise over to Cars Land and experience "Radiator Screams" all decked out. I especially love seeing the characters in their costumes! Adorable!

I sincerely wish you the most magical visit. See you real soon!

    Magic awaits,

Meet the Panelist: McCayla, Washington

Hello from the Pacific Northwest! I'm McCayla, a wife and mom dreaming of adventure in the great wide somewhere, yet also completely content watching Toy Story from the couch. My love of Disneyland began as a little girl on Peter Pan's Flight and only grows with each visit. But even when I'm not physically at the Happiest Place on Earth, I truly feel that same joy when I can help others (YOU!) experience the magic of Disneyland Resort too.
