Ahoy, Jennifer!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! You are going to fall in love with cruising with Disney! I adore so many things having to do with taking Disney Cruise Line vacations. Visiting exotic locations with Captain Mickey at the helm is the best way to travel!
I'm thrilled to hear that you booked a
Concierge-level stateroom! My family and I love sailing as Concierge-level Guests! The customer service is always phenomenal onboard, but you're going to experience an entirely new level of customer service from your Concierge Team! The Concierge Lounge aboard the Disney Wonder is so beautiful! Upon checking in at the Cruise Terminal, you will receive an invitation for a welcome aboard get together for Concierge-level Guests the afternoon of embarkation day! I recommend attending so you can get to know the friendly faces of your Concierge Team and receive your family's Concierge folder that will have the details of your cruise.
Unfortunately, blenders are on the list of
prohibited items that are not allowed onboard during your cruise. You may bring aboard your portable fan, but it does need to be approved by the Chief Electrician prior to being plugged in. I recommend letting the Concierge Team know about your portable fan on embarkation day and ask if they could help set up an appointment to have the Chief Electrician stop by your stateroom in order to give it a thumbs up! The Concierge Team will be there to help make your voyage smooth-sailing!
Jennifer, I'm bursting with excitement knowing your inaugural Disney Cruise will be as a Concierge-level Guest! Eee! I have a feeling this will be the first of many Disney Cruises for you and your family!
