Hi, Allison! Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
I am so excited to hEAR that you will be visiting the Walt Disney World Resort with your
little Mouseketeers! There is nothing quite like experiencing Disney magic through the eyes of your young children. This is sure to be a vacation you and your husband will remember forever. Be sure to purchase
Memory Maker so that you can download all of your
Disney PhotoPass Service pictures to relive those memories yEAR after yEAR.
Since you will be visiting with two little ones, you will definitely want to make use of the
Rider Switch Service. If you and your husband would like to experience an attraction that your kiddos are too little for, simply speak to a Cast Member at the attraction entrance and they will scan your
MagicBand or admission card to issue you a Rider Switch entitlement. One of you can wait with the kids while one of you waits in the standby queue to experience the attraction. When the rider returns, the waiting adult may access the attraction using the
FastPass+ queue to avoid waiting a second time. If you wish to use the Rider Switch Service along with FastPass+ to avoid waiting in the standby queue, you may certainly do so. However, each person who plans to ride should have a valid FastPass+ selection for that attraction in order to do this.
Rider Switch is a great way to make sure none of the adults miss out on any of the "big rides." However, even though your children are very young, I think you will find that there are many attractions that your entire family will be able to enjoy together. The
attractions page on the Walt Disney World website can be filtered by age, height, thrill level, and interests to find the attractions that will be practically perfect in every way for your whole family.
During your visit to the Walt Disney World Resort, be sure to take advantage of the
Baby Care Centers conveniently located in each of the
theme parks. The Baby Care Centers are such a wonderful resource when you are traveling with your little Mouseketeers.
See ya real soon!
Samantha
