Ahoy there, Becky!
Welcome aboard planDisney!
An adventure on the Adventure truly lives up to its name, and sailing in March means you and your crew will be among the first few families to experience this brand-new Disney ship in all her glory. Add Concierge into the mix, and you’re starting your voyage with a little extra pixie dust sprinkled right on top.
Now let’s talk about your delicious plans.
Palo Trattoria is such a special treat, and I’m glad you and your husband are carving out time for a
grown-up evening. The great news is that your kids can absolutely enjoy their rotational dining experience without you. Disney Cruise Line leaves this choice entirely up to the parent or guardian, so if you’re comfortable with your 16-year-old leading the charge at dinner, Disney is too.
I recommend mentioning your plans to your dining team the night before. Those dining teams are basically culinary fairy godparents—they’re wonderful about keeping an eye out, helping with any requests, and making sure your kids have everything they need. And let’s be real… seven-year-old me absolutely would have skipped straight to the dessert menu, so giving your servers the heads-up might save you from a sugar-filled surprise later.
My crew is counting down the days until we get to explore the Adventure as well, and the dining onboard is one of the things we’re most excited about. My kiddos have
Mike & Sulley’s Flavors of Asia at the very top of their must-do list—they’ve been dreaming of their own premium dining experience, and a Monsters, Inc.-themed Japanese steakhouse is about as fun as it gets. I have a feeling your kids will find plenty onboard to keep them happily roaring along while you enjoy your well-earned Palo date night.
I hope this helps as you chart your course toward an unforgettable sailing. May your Palo dinner be worthy of Lumière’s approval, may your kids enjoy a feast fit for heroes, and may your first steps aboard the Adventure feel like turning a brand-new storybook page.
Sea ya real soon as the tides turn toward thankful hearts and joyful journeys,
Dustin
