My husband, 3 kids and I are going to Disneyland with my 2 parents. I'm looking at the difference between getting 2 rooms at the Disneyland Hotel versus the 2 bedroom family connecting suite. Are there certain perks that come with the suite? View etc

Hi Kelly! Thanks for dropping by planDisney.

I love Disneyland Resort trips with extended family. Some of our favorite memories as a family are from our vacations together to the parks. I think you all are going to have the best time. Be sure to take advantage of the Disney PhotoPass photographers, so you can preserve your memories with a group picture. Main Street, U.S.A. is an iconic location. It could make for a great holiday card.

Disneyland Hotel is a magical choice. It's my family's favorite Disneyland Resort Hotel. We love the retro style, the delicious dining choices, and the convenient access to the Disneyland Monorail, which takes you right into Tomorrowland in Disneyland Park. Whether you end up going with a 2 Bedroom Family Connecting Suite or two separate rooms, I think you'll be pleased with the accommodations.

The 2 Bedroom Family Connecting Suite will have a view of trees, the pool, or the parking area. The suite sleeps up to 10 and has several different options for beds, depending on availability. Whereas with separate rooms, you'll be selecting whether you'd like a Premium, Deluxe, or Standard View. Standard View rooms look out on trees or the parking lot. Premium and Deluxe Views overlook the pool. There's also a Premium Downtown Disney View option. The amenities for the suite and the other rooms are identical.

If you're looking for some special perks that come along with your room selection, you can check out the Club-Level Service options available at Disneyland Hotel. Our family has experienced Club Level on a few trips and can highly recommend it. Club-Level amenities include a Continental breakfast, snacks, dessert, wine and cheese, Club Staff assistance, and exclusive access to the E-Ticket Club viewing area for fireworks. We find Club-Level to be relaxing and a good value, especially with the food options.

If you're feeling overwhelmed by all the room choices, please feel free to call a friendly Cast Member on the Hotel Reservations phone line. They'd be happy to answer your questions and help you book your stay.

    I hope this helps!
