Hello, I will be with my husband and kids this coming November in WDW Orlando but if I want to go shopping this day, it is possible to drop them in the front door of the park without parking fee and pick them up at night in the same place?

    Hi Ricardo,

    Great question!

My suggestion would be to drive to the main gates of the Magic Kingdom, then tell the cast member attending the booth that you are planning to drop off guests at the Transportation and Ticket Center. The cast member will then give you directions as to where to drive so you can access the guest drop-off area without having to pay for parking.

As far as I know, the only spot to do a guest drop-off is at the Transportation and Ticket Center. If the members of your family want to go to the Magic Kingdom, then they would either ride the ferry or the Monorail's express line from the Transportation and Ticket Center. If they want to go to Epcot, Disney's Hollywood Studios, or Disney's Animal Kingdom, then they would take a bus to those theme parks from the Transportation and Ticket Center.

Since you mentioned that you'll be going shopping.....here's a little tip from your buddy Derek:

When I'm at home, I don't get excited about going shopping. When I'm at Walt Disney World, I'm a shopaholic!

When the topic of shopping comes up at Walt Disney World, most guests immediately think of going to Downtown Disney. While Downtown Disney does offer an amazing array of shopping options, I also like to hit the shops at the various Walt Disney World resort hotels as well. Each of them offers unique gift shops with merchandise themed to that particular resort hotel, so you'll see many souvenir options that are only available at that particular location.

So, don't forget to add a few of the resort hotels to your shopping agenda!

I hope that helps! Please feel free to write back if you should have any additional questions and I'll be happy to help in any way that I can.

    Best regards,
    Derek
