My husband can only join us for 2 days at DW. What 2 parks should we go to with him? My boys are age 13 & 12. My husband likes adventure and fun.

    Sheila:

As much as I want to say the Magic Kingdom for picture's sake, I lean toward Epcot and Disney Studios.

Why Epcot?  It's got some fabulous attractions for pre-teen and junior-high boys.  From Mission: SPACE to TestTrack, Soarin' to its newest ride Sum of All Thrills, there'll be a lot for them to enjoy together.  My oldest boy is 12 and he loves the Innoventions buildings (trying out the Segway!) and the games that are often overlooked at the end of Spaceship Earth and Mission: SPACE.  Don't let the guys miss out on some of the small stuff just to take another whirl on TestTrack!  And then the real adventure: trying different colas at Coke's Club Cool!

Disney Studios, of course, offers Rock 'n' Roller Coaster and Tower of Terror, and my personal favorite, Toy Story Mania, which may look like a kiddie ride, but I promise they'll want to get in the que again and again.  My only caution is that, if you are the least bit sentimental and will want pictures, scrap Hollywood Studios for the Magic Kingdom.  Hopefully Space Mountain will be open when you visit but if it's not, make sure and take a spin on Buzz Lightyear, Tomorrowland Speedway, Big Thunder Mountain, even Astro Orbiter.  They won't measure up to Rock 'n' Roller Coaster, but it's hard to beat a family picture on Main Street!

    Wishing y'all a magical vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Whitney, Mississippi

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
