my husband is on an insulin pump and must keep his insulin refrigerated is there a fridge in the rooms at the carib. beach or could we rent one

Hello Deborah.  Thanks for visiting us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

I am glad to hear you are staying at Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort, it is one of my favorites.  I think you will be happy to know you will have a refrigerator in your room at no extra charge.

If you want to keep your husband's insulin with you while visiting the Walt Disney World Theme Parks, you can take it to the First Aid station.  The First Aid station will be able to keep it refrigerated for you while enjoying your time in the parks.  When you are entering the theme parks and going through security, just be sure to let them know you have diabetes supplies with you.  The storage service at the First Aid stations are free for you to use.  I highly encourage taking advantage of their services.

Have a wonderful vacation.  If I can help you with anything else, please feel free to ask.

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
