My husband is an honorably discharged Army veteran, can he apply for the military discount for tickets to DW? thanks

I am honored to help our honored military in answering this query. In order to qualify for the Military Special Offers, both active and retired personnel must currently be in possession of a valid military identification card. As for retired military, they  are considered those with a valid 'retired' identification card in their possession. If you were in the military and had an honorable discharge (form DD214) without the accompanying retiree identification card you would not be a candidate for Walt Disney World special military tickets. It is my understanding that  veterans with 100% disability (DD 2765) and hold a valid identification card with the proper "DAVRPM", then one may are eligible for the military special discounts. I have heard that the Shades of Green Resort does offer discounts for previous service members who are not career retirees. You can contact them at (407) 827-8387 for inquire. Have a magical day.
