My husband and I honeymooned at WDW and will be celebrating our next anniversary there as well with our 6 year old son. I have a special fireworks cruise scheduled for our celebration, but I wanted to make sure my son will have a good time as well.

    Hi Rachel,

No better place to celebrate a honeymoon & anniversary than Disney World!  Here are some things my 6 year loves to do at WDW:

The Pirates League - all guests over the age of 3 can be transformed into pirates. After guests get a new name, learn some swashbuckling maneuvers & take the official Pirate League Oath, all new crew members are invited to come back in the afternoon (typically held around 4 p.m.) to march in the Adventureland Pirate Parade.

    * Captain Jack Sparrow's Pirate Tutorial - click here for more details. This is included in park admission.

    * If you weren't already doing a special fireworks cruise, I'd suggest the Pirates & Pals Fireworks Voyage but it sounds like you've got that covered.

Disney's Pirate Adventure is for kids ages 4 - 12 years old. Each little buccaneer enjoys a light snack and beverage, learns how to talk like a pirate, visits legendary ports-of-call, and—if he or she is lucky—returns with a bag of pirate booty!

    * Jedi Training Academy at Disney's Hollywood Studios (included with park admission). Click here for more details.

Wishing you many magical memories :-) Allison
