My husband and I had our honeymoon in Walt Disney World 30 years ago this year. We will be going back down and will be in Epcot on our anniversary, are there any special things we can do for our special day?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Tammy!

Congratulations on your 30th anniversary! We are so excited to answer your first question and help you create magical memories as you celebrate your happily ever after! EPCOT is my favorite theme park and it was also our chosen destination to spend our 10th wedding anniversary.

The first thing you want to do is ask for a Happily Ever After button at park entrance to let Cast Members and others Guests know you are celebrating your wedding anniversary. You never know what kind of pixie dust may come your way – our magical moment happened when the talented Mariachi Cobre in the Mexico pavilion noticed our celebratory buttons and actually played a special song just for us. We were serenaded by our favorite World Showcase performers and I will cherish that memory forever!

Such a milestone calls for unforgettable experiences. Have you considered booking a unique tour? My husband’s favorite attraction at EPCOT is Living with the Land, so he was very excited when I surprised him with a Behind the Seeds tour that takes Guests on a walking tour of The Land Pavilion. As a skilled gardener he had a great time visiting the greenhouses and actually took great ideas back home. The UnDISCOVERed Future World is another great tour currently available on Mondays, Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays, that offers Guests the opportunity to learn how Walt Disney’s vision of a futuristic world became EPCOT. If you are a fan of this theme park this is the perfect opportunity to learn more about its history and what went into “imagineering” the community of tomorrow.

In my opinion there is nothing more romantic than enjoying breathtaking fireworks in the company of your better half. For the perfect grand finale to your fun-filled day, I recommend making reservations for EPCOT Forever Dining Package. You will enjoy a delicious dinner on the patio at Rose & Crown Dining Room followed by the dazzling fireworks show EPCOT Forever. Another great idea is savoring French cuisine classics for dinner at Monsieur Paul’s in the stunning France pavilion and then celebrating your day with Frozen Ever After Dessert Party where you will taste the most amazing treats and enjoy prime viewing of EPCOT Forever fireworks. After the show you will be escorted to the Norway pavilion to board the popular attraction Frozen Ever After.

Tammy, please note that all dining options, entertainment and experiences are subject to change without notice. I highly recommend checking the current information regarding re-opening of the Walt Disney World Resort, as future measures may affect your plans and reservations.

I hope this helps you while planning and that you have a magical day celebrating your happily ever after at EPCOT.

    Best Disney wishes,
    Thiana
