My husband and I are going for our honeymoon in May. What would you suggest for some fun activites? He is in the military and we haven't seen each other in months. Would you suggest renting a boat for the fireworks? And if so how do you do that?

    Hi there Saraphia!

Guess what?  My husband and I honeymooned at Walt Disney World too.  It is a truly magical place to begin your life together.

A fireworks cruise is a fabulous way to celebrate your honeymoon.  You can rent a boat to watch Wishes above Cinderella Castle from the Seven Seas Lagoon or you can rent a boat departing from one of the Epcot area resorts to get an amazing view of Illuminations.  Either of these options is fabulous.  Just call (407) WDW-PLAY to reserve your boat.

You may also want to consider a relaxing couples massage at Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa. What a lovely way to reconnect after your fiance's lengthy absence.  You can learn more about the couples treatments at www.relaxedyet.com or you could call (407) 827-4455.

One of my favorite romantic experiences at Walt Disney World is actually absolutely free.  Just grab your sweetheart by the hand and head to the beach behind Disney's Polynesian Resort.  Watch the fireworks from this exquisite venue.  My husband enjoyed an evening like this during a recent anniversary celebration.  Trust me; it's pure magic!

Best wishes as you make your honeymoon plans.  Please let us know if there's anything else we can do to help and please thank your husband-to-be for his brave service to our country.  We at the Moms Panel are grateful for his service.
