My Husband and I are headed to WDW May 25-28 2011. This is the first time for both of us and is also an early 1 year anniversary celebration for us. Any suggestions on places to eat that will not "break the bank" w/ character dining for 1 of the

    Hello Heather,

I remember newlywed bliss. And I can't think of a better place to celebrate your marriage's love than Disney World!

There are a few places at Disney where I would be ecstatic if my husband took me for our anniversary.

I love Wolfgang Puck Express in Downtown Disney. It offers a menu less expensive than at the Wolfgang Puck Cafe and Dining Room, but it is not lacking in decor or taste. You'll almost forget that the Express is a quick service restaurant.

Or if you are looking for truly a sweet treat for two, how about splitting a sundae at Beaches and Cream Soda Shop at the Beach Club Resort?

You also mentioned wanting to try a character meal. One of my favorites is at 'Ohana's. 'Ohana pipes in the music from the Magic Kingdom fireworks show and will dim the lights so you can watch from your table during dinner so it's a great spot from which to watch the show. Talk about romantic!

Hope this helps. And happy anniversary to you and your Prince!

My family loves our Main Street in Ohio. But there's simply no comparison to Main Street U.S.A.! We don't get to Disney quite as often as I'd like, but that just means finding new ways to sprinkle Pixie Dust on our adventures! Learn More About Monina
