Welcome to planDisney and we appreciate you coming by with your question. I'm very excited for you to be visiting the Disneyland Resort later this year and I'm glad that you've already purchased your tickets.
There are two opportunities for guests to purchase
Genie+. It is offered as an optional add-on when you purchase your tickets and will last the length of your ticket. If you did not purchase it at that time, your next chance to add Genie+ will be after entering the Parks on the actual day of your visit, after your ticket is scanned. Sadly, that means that you won't be able to add it prior to your trip. Availability can be limited, but you should be fine if you purchase it first thing in the morning when you enter either Disneyland Park or Disney California Adventure. Just look for the Genie+ banner on the Home Screen of the
Disneyland Mobile App. Please note that this is a one-day purchase, so you will need to repeat this procedure for every day that you would like Genie+. Here's a tip: set a two hour timer after booking a Lightning Lane to remind yourself when you're able to book another (unless you've already redeemed it) so you can maximize your time.
You'll be catching the Disneyland Resort just as Halloween Season is ending and right before the official start of the
Holiday Season on November 10, 2023. I hope that you'll at least see some of the decorations as they are added. You'll definitely get to enjoy
